On May 24, J.D. Edwards & Company reported financial results for the second quarter ended April 30, 2000. Total revenue for the second quarter of fiscal 2000 was $231.0 million, compared to revenue of $231.6 million in the second quarter of fiscal 1999 (See Figure 1). License fee revenue grew 22% over the same period last year, to $81.7 million. Services revenue was $149.3 million, compared to $164.4 million in the second quarter of fiscal 1999. Net loss for the quarter, including acquisition-related charges, was $2.3 million, or $0.02 per share, compared to net loss of $10.4 million, or $0.10 per share in the second quarter of fiscal 1999.
