How Are Enterprise Resource Planning Vendors Addressing Lean Manufacturing?

Given the current massive interest in lean manufacturing, the time has come for prominent enterprise systems providers to communicate their views and experience in lean manufacturing, and the range of solutions and tools that they offer to support organizations with a lean manufacturing philosophy. What follows are some notable examples of vendors that support many lean tools and methodologies. Obviously, vendors will be stronger in some areas than others, depending on their original enterprise resource planning (ERP) system's suitability for more repetitive versus to-order environments.
