Event Summary
The main idea behind this article is by no means to dwell further on Oracle's persisting tug-of-war bid for PeopleSoft (see Frantic Merger-Mania Spiced Up With Vendettas Leaves Customers Anxious). Neither will we delve more deeply into the strengths and weaknesses that the ongoing merger between the recently "inaugurated" No. 2 leading business applications provider PeopleSoft, Inc. (NASDAQ: PSFT), and former J.D. Edwards & Company is yet to encounter.
