Lorne Goloff
Lorne Goloff is Vice President of TEC’s Software Selection Services business unit. Goloff designs the company’s software selection offerings and oversees their sales and delivery. A recognized software selection expert, Goloff has managed more than 300 projects. He also develops direct, channel partner, and original equipment manufacturer (OEM) relationships that empower organizations around the world to leverage TEC’s core competencies for their software research, evaluation, and selection projects. Goloff’s deep operational knowledge of the enterprise software market comes from a 25-year career both as a purchaser and a service provider. Goloff holds an MBA, with a concentration in strategic management of technology firms, from Concordia University.

Ron Stewart
Ron Stewart brings more than 20 years of industry experience to his role as a software selection consultant. Prior to joining TEC, Stewart worked as a consultant at Computer Associates, where he helped large and public-sector organizations optimize their hardware and software systems. Prior to that, Stewart sold computer aided design (CAD) software at Symmetry Solutions, where he acquired a comprehensive knowledge of product lifecycle management (PLM) systems. Stewart holds a variety of software- and IT infrastructure−related certifications. An avid saxophonist, he studied music at Concordia University.

Richard Mechaly
Richard Mechaly manages consultant and original equipment manufacturer (OEM) partnerships for TEC’s Software Selection Services group. Since joining TEC, Mechaly has worked closely with IT decision makers, developing enterprise software evaluation and selection projects that address key business challenges. He has also collaborated with software vendors and TEC analysts to grow TEC’s repository of vendor information and ensure that the company’s data is transparent and meets industry standards. Mechaly holds a BA in Marketing from Concordia University.

Jorge Tsuboyama
Jorge Tsuboyama is TEC’s principal software selection consultant to companies in Latin America. Before joining TEC, Tsuboyama worked as a business development and contract manager for Canadian companies in the satellite and broadcasting industry. In that role, he collaborated closely with software research and development (R&D) teams to help companies across Latin America gather software requirements and build implementation plans. Prior to that, Tsuboyama worked as a telecommunications consultant, employing emerging technologies to bring new services to Peru and Venezuela. Tsuboyama holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú.

Stephan Steinhouse
Stephan Steinhouse brings over a decade of experience with enterprise software to his role as a software selection consultant. He is adept at making sense of complex systems that span a variety of different software types. Prior to joining TEC, Steinhouse worked at the National Film Board (NFB) of Canada, where he was responsible for evaluating, testing, and procuring hardware and software systems. Steinhouse holds a BA in Arts and Communications from McGill University, and a degree in Photography and Film from Ryerson University.

Michael Thaw
Michael Thaw is TEC's principal software selection consultant to large enterprises. Thaw draws on his expertise in enterprise resource planning (ERP), product lifecycle management (PLM), and supply chain management (SCM) to help large enterprises assess complex business needs, develop clear software requirements, and offer insight into areas of opportunity. Prior to joining TEC, Thaw ran his own manufacturing and distribution business, where he acquired extensive experience in operations and enterprise software selection. Prior to that, Thaw studied pharmacology and physiology.

Albano Dejesus
Albano Dejesus is an experienced IT and financial industry professional with 18 years of experience working in Europe and North America. In his role as a selection services consultant, DeJesus' business territory includes France, his country of origin, as well as Quebec, North Africa, Brazil, and Portugal. Prior to joining TEC, he was the co-owner of a private IT integrator that facilitated the relocation of companies, providing services that included software selection, hardware installation, and real-estate consulting. In his academic career, DeJesus studied in France with a focus on applied business IT and received a BAC and BTS STT IG. DeJesus speaks fluent French, English, Portuguese, and Spanish.
