Abstract: Wi-Fi has become the access method of choice for users at the office, at home, and on the road. According to research, nearly 200 million Wi-Fi chipsets were sold in 2006 alone. But can Wi-Fi work effectively in a wireless local area network (WLAN) environment? Yes it can. Abstract: A growing problem with rich multimedia electronic presentations is their increasing file size. Data files, in general, are larger, making it challenging to send them over the Internet. Most e-mail clients have limitations on attachment sizes, thus securely sending a one hundred megabyte PowerPoint presentation with embedded video over e-mail is nearly impossible. YouSendIt, however, offers solutions consisting of a free web service and the YouSendIt Enterprise Server. Both solutions offer comprehensive security options. The YouSendIt Enterprise Server is an enterprise level, complete large file transfer consisting of a dedicated server that can integrate with existing network security infrastructure.

Abstract: Widespread acceptance of the principles in the Third Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) is nearing a level that would indicate the communications industry is close to reaching a de facto convergence architecture. We look at similarities and differences between the MultiService Forum R2 (physical) architecture and the 3GPP R6 Core IMS functional architecture.
