Financial Statements Features and Functions

Financial snapshots

Financial Snapshots: There are any number of financial targets managers and owners should follow; only one of which are the financial statements at the end of a fiscal period. Tracking daily sales or Accounts Receivable balances are just two of these benchmarks. This question asks whether a system provides a special screen or screens which are updated continuously (daily) by which users can track information of importance to them. Some systems offers a single set of financial snapshots. The most productive system should display any information that can be generated by any part of the system and there should be a separate screen for each user so that they can track what is of importance to them personally.

Financial statements can take many forms. While it may not be possible for systems to meet the needs of each user, it should be possible to produce standard financial reports most companies require from time to time.
