Line Assignment Features and Functions

• Viewing, by the CSR, of already assigned network resources, such as the line assignment of a subscription number


• Viewing, by the CSR, of the available network resources


• Sorting and filtering, by the CSR, of available resources based on user defined criteria, such as the available termination points on a selected DP


• Identification, by the CSR, of if required resources are available to satisfy the customer order (for example, displaying available DP termination points, available cabinet termination points at the serving cabinet, and available connection trunks)


• Display of line trunk availability to the MDF and from the MDF to the switch


• Temporary resource reservation based on customer requests, and lining of the reservation to the service order


• Resource reservation that includes access network resources, transport network resources (including inter-switch connections), and switching resources


• Modification and deletion of temporary assigned resources


• Permanent reservation of temporarily reserved resources


• Authorized modification and deletion of permanently assigned resources
