Product tracking is the ability to follow a product through a development or sales cycle.

- Predesigned products purchased or asset records that contain data fields such as serial number, date of purchase, warranty end date, etc. are available
- Product detail records that are associated with (hyperlinked to) an opportunity that is "won," can be automatically associated with the account record (as assets or purchased product records)
