Work Instructions Features and Functions
Work instructions are the detailed view of the work that must be performed to produce a product. These instructions document and communicate the manufacturing process in a way that is repeatable and easily understood by the plan personnel, leading to more standard processes and higher quality products. Work instructions bring together the parts being produced, the operations and activities required to produce it, and any additional resources requires (such as tools, jigs, etc.) to provide a single view of the job to be performed.
