Control Reports Features and Functions
Journals
Journals are summary reports that track transactions in very broad categories.
Transaction Register
The transaction registers are the primary audit trail by which information is researched at the end of a period or year, or even long after a period has been closed. This section helps identify how a system helps users segregate information in support of this review or research process. In addition, it helps in determining how the original batch or transaction can be identified since the user will be looking at a single entry in a detailed trial balance or account activity report.
Transaction Drill-down
Users can drill down or drill up from a transaction to view summarized information for a set of transactions, or details about a specific transaction can be seen.
