Supplier management enables finding and qualifying the best supplier, maintaining the list of approved suppliers, maintaining and accessing a database of supplier profile information, and critically measuring, monitoring, and analyzing the performance of suppliers.

Supplier Search, Qualification, and AVL Management
Use this score to improve or eliminate a supplier. For example, one customer takes scores, puts all suppliers together for a commodity and posts the scores, anonymously. Suppose that the top 10% will be kept, which prompts a supplier improvement process. This is not just grading a supplier, but rationalizing which suppliers are your good suppliers based on grades and all additional information that might be collected. May use this to make decision about splits.
