Supplier Scorecard (Balanced Scorecard)
Use the scorecard to improve or eliminate a supplier. For example, many put suppliers together for a commodity and post the scores, anonymously--suppose that the top 10% will be kept, which prompts a supplier improvement process. In addition to grading a supplier, rationalizing which are your good suppliers, based on grades, and additional information that might be collected. May use this to make decision about splits.
