Decision Support and Reporting Features and Functions
The WMS should include a rule-based engine to facilitate user level and functional task direction. Productivity standards should be included to enable activity tracking and performance reporting. Data captured through the WMS functions and capabilities should be available to other functional areas, creating a seamless flow of critical information to manage the business from sales and marketing, as well as a financial perspective.
