Enterprises is an emerging supplier of health and
beauty products. Servicing market segments from
inner-city salons and beauty supply locations to
various retailers, Source 1 is included within a family
of companies, who are involved in the distribution,
sale, and manufacturing of products for the entire
health and beauty market place.
Client Challenge
Source 1 Enterprises was experiencing numerous
challenges and limitations from their existing business
software package, namely the fact that it lacked intercompany
functionality, provided no reporting, and did
not offer gross profit analysis by sales order or
process. In addition, due to the nature of its business,
Source 1 Enterprises received discounts during
purchasing and needed supply chain specific
functionality, including the ability to carry inventory at
net of these discounts.
As a result of challenges created by stringent vendor
requirements, Source 1 Enterprises required a
software solution that would automate bill back
revenue and current deal sheet promotions. In
addition, reporting and alert systems were needed to
ensure that all potential revenue be collected based
on standard vendor terms, in conjunction with the
latest deals and promotions.

effort to maintain financial data in legacy systems,
provide timely and accurate reporting, and ensure all
potential revenue was collected in an efficient and
