ADP and Kronos Help Customers Adapt to the Affordable Care Act

In an effort to help organizations tackle the new requirements of the Affordable Care Act (ACA), ADP has launched a Health Care Reform section on while Kronos has released an eBook, Navigating the Affordable Care Act: An Employer’s Guide to Managing Costs and Compliance in an ACA World.

New challenges presented by the ACA may affect the following:

  • payroll processing

  • summary of benefits disclosures

  • time and attendance tracking

In addition, an overview of ADP’s solutions was added to help organizations understand ADP's Payroll Services, Talent Management, Human Resource Management, Employee Benefits Administration, Time and Attendance, and Insurance and Retirement Services while working on implementing the ACA.

kronos.jpgKronos' e-book presents a series of how-to guides explaining how Kronos workforce management solutions can be used to address the compliance requirements of Title I of ACA. The document covers the Kronos time and attendance, scheduling, human resources (HR), and labor analytics.

Offering documentation meant to support human capital management (HCM) and financials professionals with new legislation may have two benefits. The obvious one is for customers who may struggle to understand and to comply with laws of ACA's magnitude. Vendors may also benefit from this, as they can develop new functionality that responds to ACA's exigencies, in collaboration with their clients. This is a learning process for both parties.
