Accu-Time Systems Releases TimeCom

Accu-Time Systems (ATS), a subsidiary of Amano USA Holdings, Inc., recently released TimeCom, a time-clock and cloud-based integration middleware solution. The new solution aims to allow any enterprise resource planning (ERP) or workforce management (WFM) application suite to collect employee time and attendance (T&A) data around the clock with minimal administration.

TimeCom includes ATS’ renowned rugged and efficient time clocks, an embedded T&A application, and a terminal management middleware. For a monthly fee, the cloud-based middleware allows the multi-level grouping of time clocks and employees, sending of messages and alerts, monitoring of terminal health, localization of time zones, and control of biometric transactions.

ATS’ main competitors are Kronos and ZK Software. Kronos offers a complete WFM software application suite/hardware solution, whereas the ATS solutions are easily adaptable to other software that include WFM or T&A modules, and thus can function as a complement to competitor solutions like JDA Software and Workforce Software. As for ATS' other main competition, price sensitivity and quality are paramount factors in deals versus ZK Software.

Currently, the TimeCom solution is validated by Workday and Oracle PeopleSoft, and is in the validation process for Oracle Fusion HCM. Among ATS’s clients are payroll companies like ADP and Ceridian.
