Automotive Oracle ERP Customer Switches to Rimini Street’s Maintenance

Rimini Street, Inc., a vocal third-party maintenance and support provider for enterprise software, including SAP and Oracle Corporation’s Siebel, PeopleSoft, JD Edwards, E-Business Suite (EBS), Oracle Database, and Hyperion software, recently announced that UCI International has selected Rimini Street to support its Oracle EBS applications to save substantial annual support fees. UCI International is a manufacturer and supplier of vehicle replacement parts and car care products in North America, with facilities and offices throughout the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Europe, and China. Its brands include Airtex Products, ASC Industries, Autolite, FRAM Filtration, Holts, Prestone, and Wells Vehicle Electronics.

Like many companies in these times of economic uncertainty, UCI International has developed a cost-conscious culture focused on achieving savings at all levels throughout the company. UCI International is typical of the majority of Oracle EBS customers in that the company would like to avoid an expensive upgrade to the next release and is unsure of the value of future R&D from Oracle.

Like other Oracle EBS customers, UCI switched to Rimini Street for 50 percent savings on annual support fees, improved service, and upgrade avoidance. Rimini Street now has over 25 signed Oracle EBS customers and this number is likely to grow. Full support for the Oracle EBS 11.5.10 release ends in November 2013. This is a very important date for Oracle EBS customers, and we will keep an eye on what will happen at that time.
