Beeline to Merge with OnForce

Adecco Group, one of the world’s largest human resources (HR) solutions providers (with more than 5,000 branches in over 60 countries and territories, and annual revenues EUR 19.5 billion), has acquired OnForce and is merging it under Beeline’s portfolio of workforce solutions. Beeline is a provider of software solutions for sourcing and managing the extended workforce, helping procurement, sourcing, and HR professionals optimize costs, reduce risks, and add value to their local and international extended workforce programs (which can include temps, consultants, independent contractors/freelancers, outsourced project resources, retirees, alumni, and other nontraditional workers).
 
For more than 10 years, OnForce has been helping savvy IT workers take advantage of the “freelancer economy” by providing the cloud technology and services that allow companies to “find-manage-and-pay” those with key IT skills in very specific, short-term work engagements. OnForce has placed more than 2.2 million work assignments, secured $26.8 million in funding over the last decade, and won more than 6,400 clients, including Apple, Comcast/Xfinity, AT&T, and Xerox.
 
With this merger, OnForce IT workers will have access to a larger portfolio of clients that include many Fortune 500 and Global 1000 organizations. From a customer perspective, combining the Beeline vendor management system (VMS) and Ellegro learning solutions (ELS) with the OnForce freelancer management system (FMS) will give customers (IT worker “employers”) a single system of record for sourcing, managing, and optimizing the entire extended workforce, including contingent IT workers.
 
Beeline and OnForce plan to deliver the first integrated solution that offers customers multiple channels for sourcing talent, i.e., both via their trusted supply chain and their network of highly skilled, carefully vetted, and correctly classified independent contractors (freelancers) through one cloud-based solution. The new integrated offering will combine Beeline's process automation and analytics for sourcing and managing talent through suppliers, with OnForce's ability to directly access and manage today's burgeoning population of freelance talent (many of whom don’t want to deal with staffing agencies).
 
Both companies will maintain their individual identities and continue functioning much as they have prior to the merger. And while Beeline and OnForce plan to integrate their complementary technologies, the merger will not directly impact either company's relationships with current customers or partners. In this way, Beeline should be much more competitive against its archrivals IBM Emptoris, SAP Fieldglass, and IQNavigator.
