Estudio Cerámico and Dune Select IFS

Estudio Cerámico and Dune, part of a leading Spanish ceramics decoration group, have chosen to deploy IFS Applications to support business processes at their headquarters as well as at the group’s subsidiaries at 11 sites worldwide. Created in 1993, Dune has had a clear international vision that allows it to adapt to the local needs of its more than 8,000 customers through its sales network.
Following an exhaustive selection process, Estudio Cerámico and Dune selected IFS Applications to support processes such as financials, human resources (HR), project management, manufacturing, distribution, customer relationship management (CRM), document management, and maintenance. The solution will be rolled out to 215 users working at the 11 sites.
The group spent many years working with a custom legacy enterprise resource planning (ERP) system, which suited its existing needs, but limited it in terms of international growth and the ability to adopt new technologies. Estudio Cerámico and Dune reportedly chose IFS because of the flexibility of the solution and extensive standard functionality that should minimize both the implementation time and the total cost of ownership (TCO). In addition, IFS’ global presence should ensure service levels throughout the customer’s international organization.
