First Australian Company to Select Rootstock Cloud ERP

Rootstock Software, a provider of cloud manufacturing, distribution, and supply chain applications, recently announced its very first customer in Australia. CSG Ltd, a popular public Australian company that provides print and managed services, enterprise solutions, and finance across Australia and New Zealand, selected Rootstock enterprise resource planning (ERP) software as a key part of its information technology (IT) transformation initiative of creating a single enterprise technology platform solution for the entire business, based on salesforce1.
This new “mobile first” platform by will manage CSG’s sales, service, and supply chain, along with feeds to existing financial systems. The goal is to empower the company to provide instantaneous information to anyone relevant, from an executive analyzing and monitoring key sales/service metrics to a customer service manager communicating with a customer on a service case. Field service technicians should be able to perform scheduled jobs and mobile transactions.
Salesforce1’s Sales Cloud and Service Cloud applications will be the base of CSG’s customer sales opportunity and customer service case interaction. Field service, subscription/leasing billing, and commissions are part of the initial phase of the overall IT Transformation initiative, provided by the group of selected Salesforce1 platform applications.
Sales opportunities and service cases will automatically become Rootstock ERP demand orders for customer order fulfillment. Rootstock’s planning, inventory, and warehouse management will plan and optimize movements of supply chain materials to satisfy replenishment signals from regional branches and field technicians.
The product will manage supplier purchase orders for customer and service level demand requirements. In addition, Rootstock’s native Salesforce1 application will also be a key element of CSG’s configure-price-quote (CPQ) process, product catalog management, and contract entitlement compliance. The vendor will likely plan a presence in Australia as a result of what will become a valuable reference account here.
