Culminating from a rather interesting partnership, the infusion of Logi Info from Logi Analytics into the core analytics capabilities of eClinical Insights has the potential to advance clinical trial research.
Logi Infor from Logi Analytics has been incorporated as part of eClinical Insights’ core applications. Logi Analytics recently announced that Logi Info is now embedded within the stack of offerings from the Massachusetts-based company eClinical Insights, a well-known provider of cloud-based clinical trial intelligence software.
Logi Info will enable eCLinical Insights to deliver a comprehensive set of business intelligence (BI) and analytics capabilities such as robust enterprise reporting and visualization as well as a wide set of analytics tools aimed at enabling researchers to take advantage of the full data analysis capabilities provided by Logi Info.
In this regard, Nick Neri, vice president (VP) of product development, eClinical Insights states:
We wanted our customers to spend less time building reports and more time gaining intelligence from them. That was our key criteria when searching for a BI tool, and Logi Analytics was the only company that delivered. The Logi Info Studio is easy enough for the everyday user to develop all the reports they need to do their job. The interface is very straightforward and the visualizations it creates allow our customers to analyze their data in an illuminating way.
And Brett Jackson, Logi Analytics chief executive officer (CEO), put emphasis on the importance of having a strong BI solution to rely on when performing and analyzing data for decision making and research:
Embedded analytics saves researchers days that were previously spent on building cumbersome reports. Ultimately, that's the goal of analytics – to derive valuable insight from analysis, not to waste precious time with complicated algorithms, complex tools and solutions that no longer fit modern needs. By leveraging Logi Info, eClinical Insights is empowering its end users with a rich data visualization tool that is accessible to everyone, not just data scientists.
One of the factors that facilitated eClinical Insights’ choice of partners is the enormous capability of Logi Analytics to provide highly embeddable BI solutions that afford partners and customers a high degree of flexibility in deploying solutions that can easily combine the value provided by Logi Analytics and its partners’ technologies, in this case those of eClinical Insights.
On the eClinical Insights side, this addition generates important value to the already attractive platform that enables customers to have a cloud-based data hub for the analysis and management of clinical trial information alongside eClinical’s collaborative trial management system TrialOpsDirector, and its integrated data surveillance system DataflowManager.
Without a doubt, this is a diligent and intelligent addition to eClinical Insights, enabling it to provide its customers with a flexible yet strong set of BI capabilities.
