Lucent Receives Engineering Award in Unified Messaging
MILPITAS, Calif., July 19, 2000--Lucent Technologies has been chosen as
the recipient of the prestigious Frost & Sullivan Market Engineering Award
for its product line strategy in the unified messaging market.
The award was for Lucent's Unified Messenger Product, which integrates
with the Microsoft Exchange Messaging server to provide voice, fax, and
e-mail to its users. The award is in recognition for not only the advanced
integration capabilities with the Exchange platform but also for innovation
in bundling hardware, software, and support under one contract.

based tool which allows users to access voice, fax, and e-mail from a
computer or telephone.
As the Unified Messaging market continues to build momentum, companies
