Major Updates for UltiPro by Ultimate Software

ultimate.jpgUltimate Software adds new functionality to the spring/summer 2013 version of its human capital management (HCM) solution to support multinational organizations, new mobile capabilities, and enhanced analytics.

The release offers 29 additional country localizations, including Brazil, France, Italy, Spain, Korea, Thailand, China, Japan, Taiwan, and Australia. To date, Ultimate supports organizations with operations in 144 countries. New global HCM features include support for

  • locally compliant payroll and relevant employee details

  • global compensation management (ability to set minimum and maximum salary thresholds in local currency and country)

  • global privacy consent management

  • global employment contract and international identification document management

Furthermore, Retention Predictor, UltiPro's analytics tool, includes "flight risk" indicators that provide a statistically accurate, data-based indicator of an employee’s flight risk, along with the potential impact to the organization of losing that employee.

The spring/summer 2013 version also offers new mobile features that allow managers to visualize employee work history as well as access time-off requests, balances, schedules, workflows, and approvals. In addition, employees can clock in and clock out via mobile devices. Users can also view 401(k) and other retirement contribution changes.

In March 2013, Ultimate Software announced its plans for 2013 to expand global HCM functionality—a considerable portion of which has been achieved with this release of UltiPro.
