New Software Comparison Capabilities: Recruitment and Staffing Software

Over the past few months, we have built TEC’s Human Capital Management (HCM) Evaluation Center with a comprehensive set of features and functions, allowing our users to compare a wide variety of human resources (HR) and related enterprise software solutions available on the market. Last year saw the development of the Talent Management software evaluation competency, which nicely complements our core HR, learning management system (LMS), talent management (TM), incentive and compensation management (I&CM), and HCM software evaluation competencies. And now we are extending our reach to recruitment and staffing software evaluation.

As of today, users can research and compare recruitment and staffing solutions through TEC’s HCM Center. Solutions currently available for comparison include Bond Talent Software (by Bond Talent Software), HireIQ Hiring Optimization Suite (by HireIQ Solutions, Inc), and TVantage (by Omni Leadership), with others to be available in the near future. We’ll keep you posted as new vendor solutions become available for comparison.

Why Recruitment and Staffing Software?

Although all organizations want to have the most qualified employees on staff, not all may need all the functionality that comes with a complete talent management solution. Those organizations simply looking for recruitment functionality can take advantage of TEC’s Recruitment and Staffing software evaluation. Recruiters and hiring managers will thus be able to compare recruitment and staffing software on the following criteria—tracking the hiring and staffing of individuals with the right skill sets for the right positions:

  • organizational structures and modeling

  • corporate branding

  • sourcing

  • applicant tracking

  • assessment and selection

  • governance and compliance

  • vendor management system (VMS)

  • recruitment analytics and reporting

  • product technology

A Starting Point for Users

If you’ve started your recruitment and staffing software selection, you may be challenged with how to gather the information you’ll need to make the right purchasing decision. TEC’s new Recruitment and Staffing Request for Proposal (RFP) Template contains more than 1,000 individual criteria on activities related to hiring and staffing, including applicant tracking, candidate relationship management, and on-boarding. This template coupled with TEC’s decision support system, TEC Advisor, allows you to prioritize your business needs, select recruitment and staffing software solutions for comparison, compare these solutions, and download reports of the results.

I invite you to download this recently available Recruitment and Staffing RFP Template so you can get started with your recruitment and staffing software selection.

What Vendors Need to Know

If you’re a software vendor and would like to have your product available for comparison under the TEC recruitment and staffing software evaluation umbrella, and have your company’s product information available to TEC’s end-user community, please contact me for a briefing. If your product is a good fit, I’ll provide you with a request for information (RFI) questionnaire that allows you to detail your product’s level of support for specific functionalities within the area of recruitment and staffing. Once you’ve completed this RFI, you will have a dedicated page in TEC’s Vendor Showcase and will be included in potentially thousands of software evaluations that are conducted each year using TEC’s selection tools.
