High-level Overview of NuViewHR Product Suite 4.15 SP 2

NuView Systems Inc. provides HR and payroll solutions to global companies. The company also provides implementation assistance, project management, on-site training, customization, data conversion, ongoing support, and interfaces to benefit carriers, financials, applications, and other types of payrolls.

NuViewHR is a Web-native HR management solution for administering HR and benefits programs, recruiting, training and development, and performance monitoring using self-service. The application can be configured to meet the needs of a variety of organizations and industries. Customers can add fields and tables to the centralized database, and all fields can be included in reports, used in ad-hoc queries and as selection filters, and/or exported to other applications. NuViewHR can be used for internal reporting, as well as government compliance reporting.

NuView’s clients are large to mid-market companies (across all industry verticals) and with 1,000 to 15,000 employees. Though the NuViewHR Product Suite is scalable and thus suitable for companies of all sizes, the company prefers to focus on the higher end of the mid-market.

NuView typically competes with some of the more well-known enterprise resource planning (ERP) vendors, including Deltek, which it (incidentally) is currently partnered with.

Quick Snapshot of the Certification Results

The NuView HR product suite was shown to handle multilingual and multicurrency with ease. It has developed country packs to cater to its global audience—allowing users to easily have access to all the pertinent tools they need to perform their daily activities in their language of choice (and providing the appropriate fields to display within the application). These country packs cover areas including the following:

  • Compliance

  • Language

  • Localization

  • Religious factors

  • Tenure

  • International regulators (manages the display of objects throughout the application in order for users to respect the local culture, laws, regulations, and practice of each country)

By January 2012, it will have developed seven country packs for the following regions: United Kingdom, Sweden, Denmark, Malaysia, Thailand, Spain, and Brazil. The solution itself is currently available in 20 languages.

Delivery options include licensed, software-as-a-service (SaaS), or a blended model. Currently, NuView’s clientele is one third licensed, one third SaaS, and one third blended. Its development framework allows users to easily adapt the system to their current needs, or scale for future growth.

NuView Systems has recently been in discussions with Workforce Software on partnership opportunities. Although not officially announced, this partnership will help to expand to the global market in areas that NuView has not yet penetrated.

You can download the full report, which covers Nuview’s strengths and weaknesses, and a benchmarking analysis of each functionality module according to TEC’s model of HR solutions, which will be available in the TEC Certification Reports page in the next couple of weeks. The report will contain valuable information on NuView’s functionality, including the following:
