Oracle Introduces New HCM and Talent Management Features

oralogo-small.gifOracle has announced new features and functionality for Oracle Human Capital Management (HCM) and Oracle Talent Management Cloud, intending to support stronger performance, recruiting, and learning. The release is expected to drive user productivity, support global adoption, and deliver advanced big data insights.

New enhancements to Oracle HCM and Oracle Talent Management Cloud include:

  • An interactive dashboard to develop comprehensive assessments

  • Extended performance management capability

  • Deeper automated integrations to sustain workflows and maintain historical information

  • Improved user interface for what-if analysis scenario planning

  • Enhanced global support

  • Consumer-friendly search interface for job listings and talent profiles on Oracle Taleo Recruiting Cloud

  • Online feedback questionnaire

  • E-offer option for candidates to receive, review, and accept their offer letters and packages on a secure online portal

  • Improved onboarding capabilities as part of Oracle Learn Cloud

  • New e-signature functionality in Oracle Learn Cloud

  • Modern social networking-style corporate directories and talent profiles


The press release also mentions new mobile functionality as part of Oracle Tap for Oracle HCM Cloud:

  • New iPhone App

  • Option to manage approvals from iPhone1 or iPad 3

  • New configurable dashboard


Oracle's new HCM offering provides enhanced support for most areas of people management—including talent acquisition, onboarding, learning, and performance. In addition, the release enables flexible work environments with new mobile and global features.
