Ramco and WNS Partner for HR Outsourcing

Ramco Systems, an enterprise software product company focused on delivering ERP applications on cloud, tablets, and smartphones, recently entered into a strategic partnership with WNS Holdings Limited (WNS), a provider of global business process outsourcing (BPO) services . This move marks Ramco’s entry into the platform-as-a-service (PaaS) space where Ramco’s HR platform will be the base on which WNS will package its human resources outsourcing (HRO) services to its customers across industries.
Built on Ramco’s VirtualWorks platform with a model-based software development architecture, Ramco’s Human Capital Management (HCM) suite will draw upon WNS’ experience in people management practices and process management, and Ramco’s cloud-based technology to provide systems and managed services to clients. With features like mobility, role-based WorkSpaces, in-memory payroll processing, and multicountry payroll on cloud, the new HCM suite can be deployed modularly and also integrated with any standard enterprise resource planning (ERP) system.
Ramco VirtualWorks provides a framework for ecosystem providers like WNS to build applications and services around Ramco. The WNS-Ramco HCM suite will be a platform on the cloud combined with best-in-class analytics and embedded services, designed to enable its customers to migrate into a system-of-engagement model from that of system-of-records.
WNS offers business value to more than 200 global clients in key industry verticals. WNS delivers an entire spectrum of BPO services such as finance and accounting, customer care, technology solutions, and research and analytics and industry-specific back-office and front-office processes.
The joint offering will initially be targeted at customers in the North American and European markets. Having strengthened its presence and reach in India, APAC, the Middle East, and Africa, Ramco is now focusing on getting a foothold in Europe and Americas with its HCM offering. The vendor has other HRO service providers as partners; however, they are more focused on APAC and the Indian subcontinent. WNS engagement is strategic in nature and is aimed at expanding Ramco’s reach and footprint in the Americas and Europe.
