Robert Eastman Joins Technology Evaluation Centers

I am very excited to be joining Technology Evaluation Centers (TEC) as senior analyst, supply chain management.

TEC's decision-support engine, robust feature/function models, and rich database of vendor capabilities enable TEC clients to realize faster time-to-value in software decisions.  Watching the evolution of how clients use software advisory firms, and, then, starting up my own analyst firm, has persuaded me more strongly than ever of the value of such an online capability for software evaluation.

Technology Evaluation Centers has taken enhanced this capability with a broad set of software evaluation services, ‘online to on-site,’ that supports the needs of TEC’s global clients.

I join TEC after spending 12+ years at AMR Research, where I worked with end users, vendors, and service providers on a range of supply chain, technology, and business issues principally in the aerospace & defense, consumer packaged goods, consumer electronics, high tech, manufacturing, and life sciences industries.

TEC has asked me to leverage this experience to contribute to TEC’s already stalwart body of research on supply chain (those of you who read the TEC Blog know what I am talking about), as well as work with members of TEC’s team in the areas of marketing and service delivery.

Supply chain management (SCM), as we all know, covers a lot of territory, including demand planning; product and distribution planning; sales & operations planning (S&OP); supply management; supplier relationship management (SRM); event

the global supply chainmanagement; order management; analytics; service parts planning; inventory management; transportation planning; warehouse management; radio frequency identification (RFID); risk management; and global trade management (GTM).  The TEC team is hard at work to help enterprises make better enterprise software decisions.

Let's talk

If you are an end user looking at your supply chain capabilities, call us at TEC, and let the conversation begin. If you are an SCM software vendor, give us a call, and let’s talk about how we can enhance your visibility in the right opportunities at the right time for the right reasons.

I look forward to hearing from you.
