Serus Adds to Its Management Team

serus_logo_new.jpgSerus, a supply chain company focused on cloud-based supply chain visibility and intelligence solutions, has announced the appointment of Kwok Poon as Head of Product Strategy and Management. This is the latest in a series of changes to the management team of CEO Hari Menon.

If you have not been tracking the goings-on at Serus, then you may have missed a few things. In fact, when we were last briefed by this vendor, Indu Navar, a founder of Serus, was serving a relatively lengthy term as CEO, longer than is usual for many firms.

Hari Menon took over the role of CEO in October of 2012, and since then, we observe, there have been several changes to the management team, including:

  • Kwok Poon, Head of Product Strategy and Management, October 2, 2013

  • Joe Longo, Vice President, Professional Services, September 25, 2013

  • Rohit Thukral, Senior Vice President, Products and Engineering, January 7, 2013

  • Al Powell, Vice President, Sales

Robert Gunn, who was SVP and CMO with Serus the last time we looked, is now SVP, Finance and Operations. Geoff Annesley continues as CTO and SVP, Semiconductor Solutions, and Anand Iyer continues as SVP, High Technology Solutions.

While much has apparently changed, we detect no fundamental change in Serus’ continuing focus on driving visibility for high technology and semiconductor companies, and other outsourced manufacturing firms, through extended and outsourced supply chains.

The future could be another story. TEC will be taking a closer look at Serus in the not too distant future to find out what these changes mean, and what else has changed at Serus.
