UNIT4’s new CEO and private financial backers have stated their commitment to Agresso as the vendor’s flagship enterprise resource planning (ERP) product for people-centric service industries, and at least two recent wins are proving that decision to be correct.

The Judge Group

The Judge Group, a growing global professional services firm that delivers technology consulting, staffing solutions, corporate training, and human capital management (HCM), selected the latest Milestone 4 version of UNIT4 Agresso ERP for financial management and budgeting, human resources (HR) and payroll, procurement, project costing and billing, process automation, and comprehensive reporting. It is a $1.3 million agreementfor the company’s North American operations.

Established in 1970, the Judge Group provides talent to its clients through a 4,500-strong workforce in the US, Canada, and Asia. The company outgrew its existing financial software, prompting a search for a new ERP solution that could manage both its financial and HR and payroll requirements. After a thorough examination of both well-known industry names and new emerging players, the Judge Group ultimately selected Agresso as its ERP of choice, citing as a factor its ability to extend functionality without being dependent on outside specialists.

City of Stockholm

The City of Stockholm recently unveiled the details of a 130 million SEK (€14.3 million), 15-year agreement with UNIT4 to transfer all City departments to UNIT4 Agresso ERP software, expecting improved efficiency and performance management under a unified ERP platform. The City previously worked with an older version of Agresso across some departments alongside a number of other disconnected systems, which will be phased out as the new system is rolled out.

The project will affect around 10,000 users who will be trained on the software. The City will conduct the system deployment using its own resources, supported by UNIT4 and service provider Tieto. It is expected that all departments will be running on the UNIT4 system by May 2015.
