Vald’or Apparel Selects NGC’s PLM, ERP, and Shop Floor Solutions

Vald’or Apparel, a private-label and branded apparel manufacturer, recently selected NGC’s product lifecycle management (PLM), enterprise resource planning (ERP), and shop floor control modules to improve efficiency and collaboration at its global operations. The company is headquartered in Coconut Creek, Florida, with an office and factory in Jordan and an additional factory opening in Haiti this year.

Vald’or selected NGC’s software to replace its outdated disparate legacy solutions and support its growth. As a Florida-based company, it has been familiar with the locally based NGC for many years. Vald'or reached out directly to NGC, and it reportedly didn't evaluate other vendors after feeling comfortable with NGC’s capabilities and references with brands, retailers, and consumer products companies.

In particular, Vald’or has great expectations for NGC’s workflow calendars and exception dashboards (that automatically notify all involved parties when something needs attention), and it also hopes to gain better understanding of pending or shipped orders, product availability, and raw materials requirements. Last but not least, NGC’s shop floor control module is expected to help Vald’or balance its sewing lines and improve the performance and efficiency of individual factory workers.
