iQuoteXpress Launches Version 6.0 of Its SaaS CPQ solution

iQuoteXpress has launched the latest version of its software-as-a-service (SaaS) sales proposal, e-catalog, configuration, and reporting software. The latest version of iQuoteXpress has been extended with important new features for lead tracking and calendar/activity functionality. iQuoteXpress added these new features in response to in-depth market research and customer feedback. iQuoteXpress v6.0 is now available to all existing and new customers.
The new Leads module allows opportunity tracking and management before the quotation process begins. Leads are easily converted into accounts and contacts simultaneously, before entering the quotation/proposal process. The release has also added a collaborative calendar-based Activities tool for task, event, and appointment scheduling. "We have received substantial input from our clients," says John Diaz, Director of Marketing for iQuoteXpress. "iQuoteXpress now stands as a true 'whole product solution' to support sales teams with critical processes, tracking leads to generating professional proposals that close sales.”
It is interesting that iQuoteXpress is extending its solution further onto the front end of the sales cycle. The majority of configure, price, quote (CPQ) software vendors have been pushing the CPQ capabilities down the sales cycle, leaving the lead-tracking stages to the customer relationship management (CRM) tools. By taking on this earlier stage of the sales cycle, iQuoteXpress is able to differentiate it product in the CPQ market.
