From March 21 to 24, 2011, Technology Evaluation Centers (TEC) will be at info360 in Washington, D.C. I will be teaming up with a panel of experts to discuss business intelligence (BI) and its role in analyzing unstructured data. Ian Hersey
Chief Technology Officer, Attensity

ian_hersey_photo.pngTo his role as Attensity CTO Ian Hersey brings more than 20 years of experience delivering innovative research technology into the commercial mainstream. He is responsible for providing the technical and strategic product vision to complement the company’s business vision, setting the tone and direction for Attensity’s technologies and business applications. Prior to Attensity, Mr. Hersey was vice president of technology development and strategy at Business Objects, an SAP company.

Matt Kodama
Vice President of Product Management, Global Public Sector, Endeca

matt_kodama_photo.pngMatt Kodama leads product management and marketing globally for Endeca solutions in the public sector. Mr. Kodama’s earlier roles at Endeca include leading product management for the core technology platform of the Endeca Information Access Platform, and technical product management for the core query and indexing technology of the MDEX Engine. Prior to Endeca, Mr. Kodama held product management and engineering roles at Mercury Interactive, Kintana, and Oracle.

Fernando Mesa
Principal Technologist, MarkLogic

fernando_mesa_photo.pngFernando Mesa is a seasoned technologist with 20 years of experience in the information technology (IT) industry, providing architectural leadership and technical direction to Fortune 500 companies in media and healthcare. Prior to joining MarkLogic as principal technologist, Mr. Mesa worked at United Health Group, where he served as vice president of enterprise architecture. Mr. Mesa is a member of the Clinical Data Interchange Standards Consortium (CDISC) for extensible markup language (XML) and is a regular speaker at enterprise, media, and mobile technology conferences.

Each of the experts will be presenting on and talking about relevant topics regarding the management and analysis of unstructured data within an organization. We will also hold a question and answer (Q&A) session with the audience.
