The ERP Evaluation Center enables you to compare and evaluate functionality based on TEC’s comprehensive model of ERP software. Data used in the Evaluation Center are obtained from the vendor’s responses to TEC’s request for information (RFI). Certification ensures that Sage has demonstrated Sage 500 ERP's support for specific real-world business processes chosen by TEC analysts; and that TEC analysts have analytically and comparatively reviewed Sage 500 ERP RFI data against known benchmarks.

Version 7.4 brings not only new functionality for financials, sales, purchasing, and manufacturing, but also new analytics modules (Business Insights Dashboard, Business Insights Analyzer, and Business Insights Explorer), as well as eBusiness Suite for Web- enabled B2B and B2C interactions. New technologies are supported (Crystal Reports XI R2 (v. 11.5), Microsoft Office 2010, Visual Studio 2010, .NET Framework 4, and Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2), and enhanced tools for data migration and software customization are provided (Data Import Manager, Data Migrator, and Customizer).
