Sunrise has developed additional functionality on top of Dynamics AX to support the soft-goods industries, adding functionality for Product Information Management, Sales & Marketing, Procurement and Sourcing, and Production Control. The diagram below shows how this functionality is layered on top of and enhances the Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 solution. (Sunrise also has Advanced Warehouse Management functionality, which is not covered in this report.)
 
Sunrise Technologies is vertically focused with deep knowledge of manufacturing, distribution, and retail. Sunrise is reported to have the largest textile-apparel-footwear Dynamics AX customer base in North America. The company has serviced businesses ranging from those with three to four users and with revenues of up to $10 million (USD) to organizations with thousands of users with hundreds of millions (USD) in revenues.
