Iliad Africa Limited Leverages K8 System for Ambitious Growth Strategy
Iliad, one of South Africa’s leading suppliers of building materials, has successfully completed the initial phase of its new 100+ location K8 implementation. Prior to the commitment to K8, Kerridge Commercial Systems products were already in place at Iliad and have played an integral part of the company’s impressive growth for more than a decade. With K8, IT standardization is enabling the introduction of best practice processes and system controls across the company. In addition to upgrading the existing systems, K8 is replacing a number of disparate non-integrated systems—a situation that had arisen as a result of business acquisitions. Read the press release.

CPAC Systems AB selects Aras Enterprise PLM PLM, Discrete manufacturing Press release |
"CIMdata has been seeing increases in both PLM consolidation and replacement activities. This win by Aras was reportedly against Siemens Teamcenter and PTC Windchill. CPAC was the former Embedded Systems division of Volvo, and they were reportedly fed up with the endless Siemens Teamcenter PLM project at the corporate level. When they got spun out, they did a full selection process and concluded that Aras was the best solution from a flexibility/capability standpoint—they were able to pilot without any out-of-pocket expenses (needless to say, they already knew Teamcenter in depth). Engineering configuration or configuration management capabilities were very important in the evaluation, i.e., management of complex software/firmware/electronics/mechanical BOMs with many different and constantly changing items and assemblies." — P.J. Jakovljevic, Principal TEC Analyst
