Abstract: Today’s Showdown is based on an industry-specific case study. Five enterprise resource planning vendors were selected for the evaluation. All the results were based on the latest request for information (RFI) supplied to us by the vendors, and all priorities were assigned by the client.
Abstract: Despite impressive product depth and breadth (for instance, customer relationship management [CRM], workflow, traceability, and quality management are provided natively), Strategic Systems International (SSI) has longstanding partnerships with several best-of-breed specialists.
Abstract: SSI's approach appeals to process manufacturers, as well as some discrete manufacturers with short lead times and high volumes, where the traditional manufacturing resource planning (MRP) approach often shows many shortcomings (and can even be a recipe for disaster).
Abstract: SSI shows deep understanding of the requirements for chemical, drug, and mill-based industries. Consequently, it has developed such must-have capabilities as potency controls, container movements, top-down and bottom-up traceability, and controls for customs and excise, shelf life, and location validation.
Abstract: Strategic Systems International (SSI) needs no special introduction to British process industries (such as consumer products manufacturers and whisky distillers), but it largely remains a well-kept secret elsewhere.
Abstract: This case study shows how Morrison Bowmore Distillers (MBD), a fast growing Scotch whisky industry, used SSI’s Tropos enterprise resource planning (ERP) system to future-proof its business and replace its inadequate system and packaged software application. Learn how it saved hundreds of thousands on inventory and headcount, and enhanced financial management and its ability to support expansion.
Abstract: Lincolnshire pie and sausage producer George Adams Pork Products is looking to its new enterprise resource planning (ERP) system to underpin future growth through tighter control of the production process. Learn how it implemented SSI’s TROPOS system across its supply chain and received more accurate forecasting, improved production planning and process control, and enhanced yields, costs, and profitability.
